☘️What’s St. Patrick’s Day?

St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland who brought Christianity to Ireland in the 5th century. As the patron saint and a symbol of Ireland, his feast day of 17 March is celebrated as a day of Irish culture all around the world. In Japan, parades are held in more than 10 cities, including Tokyo and Yokohama, and they are becoming a defining event of March. The fertile island of Ireland, also known as the Emerald Isle, gave Ireland green as a symbol colour and St. Patrick’s Day parades see entire cities turn green for the day.
